RECEPTION OF HOLY COMMUNION BY BISHOP JAN PAWEL LENGA

TRANSLATION FROM CORDIALITER BLOG:

Interesting speech by a zealous bishop

I can not forget those moving scenes since the persecution of the Church [in Poland during communist times ed],
when in very small rooms filled with faithful during the Holy Mass, children, elderly and sick people would kneel
reverently receiving edifying the body of the Lord. Among the liturgical innovations in the Western world,
especially two of them emerge in a way that obscures the visible aspect of the Eucharist on its centrality
and sanctity, and these are: the removal of the tabernacle from the center and the distribution of Communion in the hand.
When you remove the Eucharistic Lord, "the Lamb slain and alive", and when the central place in the distribution of
Communion in the hand is undeniably increases the danger of dispersion of the fragments,
the desecration and equal practice of Eucharistic bread with bread ordinary, create unfavorable conditions
for growth in the depth of faith and devotion.  Communion in the hand is spreading and even more imposing
as something more comfortable, like a kind of fashion. Are not primarily academic specialists,
but the pure soul of children and simple people who could teach us the way we should treat the Eucharistic Lord.
I would like to humbly do so the following concrete propositions: that the Holy See establishes a universal norm motivated,
 according to the official way of receiving Communion in the mouth and both his knees;
Communion in the hand would be paid instead to the clergy. That the bishops of the places,
where it was introduced Communion in the hand, you work with pastoral prudence to
bring the faithful slowly to the official rite of communion, valid for all the local churches.

[Excerpt from the speech delivered on 10.04.2005 by Archbishop Jan Pawel Lenga the Synod of Bishops on the Eucharist]

HSLDA | The Romeike Case

I'm deeply disturbed by the Obama administration's silence regarding the possible deportation of the Romeike family back to Germany. I think it crucial that traditional Catholics stand up for this home-school family and others like them before their own parental rights to be the primary educators of their children erode any further.  I am a firm believer in home schooling. I see home schooling along with independently run Catholic schools as the sole hope for raising new generations of faithful Catholics with an authentic sensus Catholicus.

I would urge everyone to watch this video about the Romeike family and their plight as well as to sign and share the petition in support of them.

Bishop Pontier, new president of the Bishops' Conference of France is a Freemason

Edit: here’s a google translation from Riposte Catholique. I’m not sure how this doesn’t get into the news. The Grande Oriente of France, the lodge to which Bishop Pontier belongs, has a very strong left inclination. Not that it would be better if it were rightist. Most prelates are silent about the subject of Freemasonry, but this prelate doesn’t think it’s problematic in the least, further proof that Bishop’s Conferences, if any were needed, are worse than worthless.  Here’s a google translation with some editing:

POSTED ON APRIL 17, 2013 BY MAXIMILIAN BERNARD IN BISHOPS , IN A , PEREPISCOPUS

The Archbishop of Marseille was elected after three ballots, after which he received a majority of two thirds of the French bishops. He will succeed Cardinal Vingt-Trois, who reaches the end of his two non-renewable mandates, June 30.

Member of the Priestly Fraternity Jesus Caritas, which is connected with the spirituality of Charles Foucaud, Bishop Pontier, also has broken links with the political world. Aged 70 years (born May 1, 1943), thin and discreet, Archbishop Pontier, from the Tarn, was ordained a priest in 1966 in Albi, then Bishop of Digne in 1988, then to La Rochelle and Saintes and finally Marseille, he is archbishop since 2006.

In 2009, he praised Islam during Ramadan:

"Who has not communed with the periphery of the Muslim community without knowing. Community is made visible at Ramadan the habits acquired in our country. Christians have at heart to discover the values by this pillar of Islam and express their friendly closeness to the Muslims who live among us. "

He also chaired the Episcopal Committee France-Latin America (CEFAL),whose orientation is clearly in favor of liberation theology.

On the Taubira law, he stated his opposition and invited the Christians of his diocese to "train, discuss, argue ...", write to elected officials. He chaired the committee "Studies and Projects" of the episcopate, to examine the issues.

In his Who's Who of the bishops, Golias gave the maximum score (5 bolsters) to Bishop Pontier and explained that “he would one day become president, although he is too far to the left for the taste of many of his colleagues". And besides Golias, the Grand Orient of France welcomed his election for his (“rather fraternal, generous, and open views …")

Pontier Bishop is a member of the Grand Orient of France. [Emphasis ours.] He would even attend further meetings regularly. Questioned by the faithful on the subject during a pastoral visit, Archbishop Pontier has never denied that membership is still contrary to the law of the Church.

He will be assisted by two Vice-Presidents, Vice-Presidents:

-Bishop Pascal Delannoy, Bishop of Saint-Denis and until now President of the Episcopal Council and Finance Committee on Economic, Social and Legal Affairs of the CEF.

-Archbishop Pierre-Marie Carré, Archbishop of Montpellier and until now President of the doctrinal commission of the CEF.

END TIMES PROPHECY OF ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI

FROM REAL CLEAR RELIGION BLOG:

Heaven preserve us from the fulfillment of such a prophecy in our own lifetimes!

END TIMES PROPHECY OF ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI

Francisbyelgreco
The Prophecy of St. Francis
Shortly before he died, St. Francis of Assisi called together his followers and warned them of the coming troubles, saying:

1. The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.

2. The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death.

3. Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.

4. There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.

5. Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.

6. Those who preserve in their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. but the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head, [Christ] these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.
7. Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days JESUS CHRIST WILL SEND THEM NOT A TRUE PASTOR, BUT A DESTROYER."

(Except for breaking up the narrative into numbered paragraphs and adding bold print for emphasis, the prophecy is presented without any alteration, as given in the Works of the Seraphic Father St. Francis Of Assisi, Washbourne, 1882, pp. 248-250)

DON PIERO MARINI PUPIL OF BUGNINI & MASTER OF CEREMONIES UNDER JOHN PAUL II ON HOMOSEXUAL UNIONS AND SECULAR STATES

FROM THE BLOG FRATRES IN UNUM

Marini, the pupil of Annibale Bugnini defends homosexual unions and states: "The Church lives in hope after years of fear. Pope Francisco talks about only positive things. "

Don Piero Marini joins other exponents of the Catholic hierarchy, including cardinals , since the resignation of Benedict XVI have opined favorably to the legal recognition of homosexual unions. The pupil of Annibale Bugnini and master of ceremonies John Paul II resurfaces again after the election of Francisco .
Don Piero Marini Eucharistic Congress in Brasilia - May 2010.
Don Piero Marini Eucharistic Congress in Brasilia - May 2010.
By La Nación | Translation: Fratres in Unum.com - This week, the Catholic Church of Costa Rica celebrates the Fourth Eucharistic Congress, whose purpose is to strengthen, with faith and reflection, the mission of priests to carry the message to the faithful. The activity will end tomorrow at 10 am, with a Mass at Estadio Fello Meza, of Carthage, which will be chaired by the delegate of the Vatican Eucharistic Congresses.
His home is the Vatican and his words narrate the life of a man who walked the halls of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, alongside popes John Paul II, Benedict XVI and the newly elected Francisco.
Monsignor Piero Marini is 70. He is visiting Costa Rica during the Eucharistic Congress and he states that the new Pope changes brought hope to the Catholic Church.
Archbishop Marini is in favor of the secular state approves gay civil unions and doesn't believe that Twitter is a good option for communication between the Pope and the faithful.
For you, how do you see the new Pope?
A Breath of fresh air, an open window in the spring and hope. Until now we have breathed swampwater marsh air that stinks. We were in a church fearful of everything and with the problematic situation of Vatileaks (leaked documents from the Vatican City) and pedophilia. Pope Francisco talks about only positive things, he puts forward the positive and speaks maintains hope.
Could you describe the environment that currently is in the Vatican?
In these early days of his pontificate there is a different air of freedom, a church closer to the poor and less problematic. He (Francis) does not like to live among the great paintings and gold.
With these humble gestures, it is a call to vows of poverty of the priests?
The call is to ask ourselves: who are the poor today? Are they those who do not know if tomorrow  they will eat. We priests should give an example of a moderate simple life.
Does this mean that the priests of the temple go without and share with the needy?
Without a doubt. Therefore, the new Pope has called for us to have the smell of the sheep, or live life and faith with the community.
In your 18 years as master of liturgical ceremonies of John Paul II, what did you learn being next to a man who was so admired?
I Learned from his simplicity. He was a very simple, spontaneous, with great ideas to share with people, of talking to the faithful after Mass. He had worked in a mine and therefore knew the reality and needs of people.
Is there something he said, a phrase or reminder that you have in memory with a special affection of John Paul II?
I remember we were in a youth conferences in the Philippines, when John Paul II celebrated my first birthday after 52 years. Never before had blown out the candles on a cake, and we met several people who gave me good wishes. He was very kind of good humor and spontaneous.
How do you get young people to integrate more the Church?
It is a major problem and a challenge for the Catholic Church. We have a break in step witness of faith from one generation to another. You must retrieve this message and there needs to be communication with the family, that the children obey their parents.
Pope Benedict XVI used Twitter as a communication medium, do you believe that was effective?
For my part, I do not use Twitter, however, the pope was advised about it. The Church does not have to be an old-fashioned, but you need a little care.
In Costa Rica opened the discussion about the secular state, which opinion deserves this kind of decision?
This is already a reality in Europe. Okay the state be secular, the problem is if it becomes a secular state, ie, if it is against the Catholic Church. Both should not see each other as enemies. In these discussions, it is necessary, for example, recognize the union of same sex, because there are many couples who suffer because their civil rights are not recognized, which can not recognize is that this couple constitutes a marriage.

FOSTERING HOLY VOCATIONS IN IMITATION OF THE MOTHERS OF LU, ITALY

today in the novus ordo calendar is good shepherd sunday(4th Sunday of Easter). In the Classical Roman rite this is celebrated on the second sunday after easter. good shepherd sunday is traditionally set aside to pray for holy vocations to the priesthood. i have long believed that a restoration of the daily family rosary would do more than anything to foster priestly and religious vocations.  I have always been edified and fascinated by the village of lu, Italy and how catholic mothers set out to foster holy priestly and religious vocations:  Here is a repost from SPIRITUAL MOTHERHOOD FOR PRIESTS

In imitation of the mothers of Lu

The rural villiage of Lu in Italy.
Upon reading the booklet Adoration, Reparation, Spiritual Motherhood for Priests, one of the stories that struck me most was of a group of Catholic mothers living in a rural village in Italy - the mothers of Lu. What I saw immediately was that small acts of faithfulness and devotion were rewarded many times over in an abundance of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. This should be of no surprise, for Holy Scripture tells us:
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7: 7-8.It also reminded me that parents have a special spiritual authority over their children, it is God given and an awesome responsiblity and privilege. These mothers called upon Heaven for their children and they were mighty prayers indeed.

The mothers banded together in faith and mutual love for God and their children. This was spiritual motherhood in action, it was simple, it was constant. I thought about this and I realised firstly, just how important it is to ask God to bless our own families with religious vocations if it be God's Holy Will and secondly that this is doable!
Today we do not live in the small, isolated confinds of a village or town. This world has opened up in a universal way and we see this particuarly in the online world where mothers from one end of the globe to the other can communicate with each other. While this world has grown large, Catholic mothers all over the globe can still band together as the mothers of Lu once did - together we can pray and be inspired with stories of faith, we can support each other in our shared mission of praying and offering for priests and vocations. God willing, here at Spiritual Motherhood for Priests, can be one such place.
Please join with us every Sunday in offering the prayer at the end of this post, the same prayer offered by the mothers of Lu, asking God daily for the gift of priests and religious, especially from our own families. (It is also permanently in the righthand sidebar.)
Here now is the story of the mothers of Lu:

"The little village of Lu, northern Italy, with only a few thousand inhabitants, is in a rural area 90 kilometres east of Turin. It would still be unknown to this day if, in the year 1881, the family others of Lu had not made a decision that had “serious consequences”. The deepest desire of many of these mothers was for one of their sons to become a priest or for a daughter to place her life completely in God’s service.
Eucharistic Adoration

Under the direction of their parish priest, Msgr. Alessandro Canora, they gathered every Tuesday for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, asking the Lord for vocations. They received Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month with the same intention. After Mass, all the mothers prayed a particular prayer together imploring for vocations to the priesthood.
Through the trusting prayer of these mothers and the openness of the other parents, an atmosphere of deep joy and Christian piety developed in the families, making it much easier for the children to recognize their vocations."
This picture is indeed unique in the annals of the Catholic Church.
From 1 to 4 September 1946, the majority of the 323 priests and religious met in their village of Lu for a reunion which attracted world-wide attention.

"Did the Lord not say, “Many are called, but few are chosen” (Mt 22:14)? In other words, many are called, but only a few respond to that call. No one expected that God would hear the prayers of these mothers in such an astounding way. From the tiny village of Lu came 323 vocations!: 152 priests (diocesan and religious), and 171 nuns belonging to 41 different congregations. As many as three or four vocations came from some of these families.
Blessed Philip Rinaldi
The most famous example is the Rinaldi family, from whom God called seven children. Two daughters became Salesian sisters, both of whom were sent to San Domingo as courageous, pioneer missionaries. Five sons became priests, all joining the Salesians. The most well-known of the Rinaldi brothers is Blessed Philip Rinaldi, who became the third successor of St. John Bosco as Superior General of the Salesians. Pope John Paul II beatified him on 29 April 1990. In fact, many of the vocations from this small town became Salesians.
St John Bosco
It is certainly not a coincidence, since St. John Bosco visited Lu four times during his life. The saint attended the first Mass of his spiritual son, Fr. Philip Rinaldi in this village where he was born. Philip always fondly recalled the faith of the families of Lu:
“A faith that made our fathers and mothers say, ‘The Lord gave us our children, and so if He calls them, we can’t say no.’”
Fr. Luigi Borghina and Fr. Pietro Rota lived the spirituality of Don Bosco so faithfully that the former was called the “Brazilian Don Bosco” and the latter the “Don Bosco of Valtellina”. Pope John XXIII once said the following about another vocation from Lu, His Excellency, Evasion Colli, Archbishop of Parma: “He should have become pope, not me. He had everything it takes to become a great pope.”
Every ten years, the priests and sisters born in Lu come together from all around the world. Fr. Mario Meda, the long-serving parish priest of Lu, explained that this reunion is a true celebration, a feast of thanksgiving to God who has done such great things for Lu."
The prayer that the mothers of Lu prayed was short, simple, and deep:
“O God, grant that one of my sons may become a priest!
I myself want to live as a good Christian
and want to guide my children always to do what is right,
so that I may receive the grace, O God, to be allowed to give you a holy priest! Amen.”

Fatima and the Third Secret -- Why is Pope Francis Having the 97 Year Old Secretary of John XXIII Come to Rome?

(Rome) Is there a Marian reading of recent church events? Antonio Socci focuses on this question in the news daily Libero (April 14). Pope Benedict XVI., who sees his powers dwindling  and does not feel strong enough to face the challenges of the time announced his resignation on the 11th February, taking place on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes,.
His successor, Francis is elected on March 13 , a date that commemorates the apparitions of Fatima. In the small Portuguese city, the Mother of God appeared between the 13th of May and 13th of October on the 13th of each month before three children. The 13th Day of each month is Fatima Day in  Catholic piety  and thus is a Marian date.
Sister Lucia of the Immaculate Heart,  which was the religious name of one of the children, wrote down the Third Secret of Fatima in 1944 after much reluctance. Only when she was stopped from writing expressly by her bishop, she got the call. The minutes were kept by the Bishop of Leiria, since 1957 and they are located in the archives of the Congregation for Doctrine and the Faith in Rome. Each newly elected Pope is shown the content of the the Third Secret by the time of his inauguration.  Only in 2000, did Pope John Paul II  order the publication of the secret to counteract speculation about a near end of the world or a third world war.
Much has been puzzled about the Third Secret of Fatima, about "a Bishop dressed in White, which was written of by the Sister Lucia dos Santos, one of the three seers: "We had the idea that it was the Holy Father.”
Pope John Paul II referred to the prophecy when he and the then Secretary of the Congregation, now the Cardinal Secretary of State, Tarcisio Bertone, made to reveal the third secret in the Holy Year in 2000 by the then Prefect of the Congregation of the Faith, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. In the belief, which was granted to the shepherd children by Our Lady, they saw that the white-robed Bishop is killed by soldiers. In 1981, a few months after the assassination attempt on John Paul II by the Soviet hired assassin Ali Agca, Cardinal Ratzinger, the previous Prefect of the CDF, Franjo Cardinal Seper, had made a connection between the vision and  the Pope surviving the severe injuries inflicted by the attack . The attack was on May 13th was committed on the day of Fatima. The Pope ascribed his salvation to the Mother of God.
Early on, however, there were doubts whether the publication was complete. Due to past testimony of several top church officials, several lines seem to have continued to be kept secret. However, doubts were also placed on the interpretation. Among others, it was the Austrian Bishop Kurt Krenn of Sankt Pölten, who publicly reported a little later about such doubts of Joseph Ratzinger. The Prefect of the CDF had therefore been of the opinion that the prophecy was not referring to the assassination, but had a far greater dimension. One dimension that concerns the whole Church, as well as the popular intuition showing in the murder of the other bishops, priests and lay Catholics. So the Third Secret concerns future events that have yet to occur.
Recently, the question is raised whether the words referred to the resigned Pope or to his successor, who likes to call himself "Bishop of Rome".
Francis saw how Pope John Paul II had a special devotion to Mary. The Mother of God is Francis' first "escape" from the Vatican on the day after his election, when he went to venerate the icon in the Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and also prayed at the grave of Pope St. Pius V.  In his first Angelus in St. Peter's Square, he mentioned Fatima.  About two weeks ago  Pope Francis surprisingly called  Archbishop Loris Capovilla.  The now over 97 year old, retired Curial Archbishop was the first secretary of Pope John XXIII from 1958 to 1963.  On Easter Monday, the 1st of April, the phone rang. The Pope was personally at the other end and told Capovilla  he wanted to meet with him. The Monsignor promises soon to come to Rome, where he has not been any more since the beatification of John XXIII on 3 September 2000.
The reason it is said that the old prelate was to be placated, that  the Pope wanted to say thank you for a brochure that Monsignor Capovilla had written for the Year of Faith and Cardinal Comastri had given to the Pope. The Pope’s call merely to say thanks for a brochure was not convincing in the least for a set of Vatikanisten.
Capovilla was the last topic of conversation, because he talked about a memorandum that Benedict XVI. had written for his successor. The Vatican denied the allusion. At the meeting of the two Popes in Castel Gandolfo, in any case, a box full of documents and a large, sealed envelope was seen.
"Why has the Pope contrived to want to see  the former secretary of Pope Roncalli in the first month of his pontificate and at he exclusion of the public? What was so urgent?” asked Antonio Socci.
On the 7th of April the Patriarch of Lisbon, Cardinal Jose Policarpo of the Portuguese Episcopal Conference, of which he is chairman, announced that Pope Francis had asked the patriarch to consecrate his pontificate of Our Lady of Fatima. The consecration will be on 13 May, taking place on the 96th Anniversary of the apparition.
Is Pope Francis talking with Archbishop Capovilla about the Third Secret of Fatima? He, therefore, is making him come to Rome, as the timing of the announcement made shortly after he consecrated  as his pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima suggests? What does the Pope think or know related to the prophecy and the future of the Church? What must we expect?

KATHOLISCHES MAGAZIN FUER KIRCHE UND KULTUR

THE PROPHECIES OF ALOIS IRLMAIER

Alois Irlmaier (1894-1959)

Italian revolution and clergy persecution, flight of the Pope

In the "boot country" (Italy) a revolution breaks out in which they kill all the clergy, I see priests with white hair lying dead on the ground. Behind the Pope is a bloody knife, but I think he escapes them dressed in the robe of a pilgrim.

Assassination of a high-ranking official, possibly in the Balkans

Two men will assassinate a third high-ranking official, they were paid by other people to do so. One of the murderers is a small black man, the other a little larger, with lighter hair color. I think it will be in the Balkans, but can not say exactly.

After the assassination of the third everything will begin overnight. The killers get away from them, but then it turns to dust. I see quite clearly three numbers, two eights and one nine. What that means, I do not know at this time.  I can not say.

Middle East war despite loud protestations of peace

Everyone calls for peace, shalom! Then it's going to happen. - A new Middle East war suddenly flares up, big naval forces gather in the Mediterranean the situation becomes hostile and tense.

The assasination in the Balkans will trigger the war.

But the real spark is thrown in the Balkan powder keg: I see a fall "Great one", a bloody dagger lies beside him.

The war is preceded by a fruitful year with lots of fruits and grain harvest.

Surprisingly beginning of the war comes from the east

Starts by the sunrise (Russians.). It therefore happens quickly. (in Germany) The farmers sit in the pub playing cards, as the foreign soldiers look through the windows and doors at them. All black is an army column coming in from the east, but it all goes very quickly.

Description of Army columns from the East

A threesome I see, but I do not know if it's three days' or three weeks.
From the golden city (Prague, GG.) they come into Germany. The first worm goes from blue water (Danube river) northwest up to the Swiss border '.

At Regensburg there is no bridge over the Danube, south of the blue water, they do not come. ...

Then ... it goes very fast. Massed troops march in Belgrade and forth from the east, and move to Italy.

A moment later three armored military groups go north of the Danube at lightning speed over West Germany towards the Rhine - without warning.
This will occur so unexpectedly that the population flees in panic toward the west. Many cars clog the roads - if they had but stayed at home or used other roads! What is an obstacle on highways and freeways for the rapidly advancing tanks tips and crushes them (the cars).
I see no bridge across the Danube above Regensburg.
From the large city of Frankfurt hardly nothing remains left.
The Rhine Valley will be devastated, mainly from the air. ...

I see ... Three military invasion spearheads approach: the lower army comes over the forest so, but then runs northwest up the Danube. The line is near Prague to the Bavarian forest and northwest. The blue water (Danube) is the southern boundary.

The second one edge going from east to west Saxony, third from northeast to southwest.

Now I see the earth like a ball before me, on the lines of the aircraft emerge that now fly up like swarms of white pigeons from the sand.
The Russian military comes in his three wedges, nothing to stop them. Day and night they come until reaching the Ruhr, where the industrial factories are. ...
The second shock comes over Saxony westward against the Ruhr area, as is the third army group, from the north-east is west of Berlin. Day and night the Russians come, inexorably. Their goal is the industrial Ruhr area of Germany. ...

Bombing into the sea creates floods and earthquakes, sinking parts of England

But as I see one therefore fly from the east, which throws a large bomb in the water well then something very strange happens. The water lifts itself as high as a tower and falls down hard again, then everything is flooded. There is an earthquake and half the large island will sink.

A single aircraft ... that comes from the east, throws an object into the big water. Since the water lifts itself as high as a tower high and falls down again. Everything is flooded. There is an earthquake. The southern part of England slips into the water.

Three large cities will perish one will perish in the water, the second stands as deep as a church steeple in the sea, and the third city falls altogether. ...
A part of England disappears, when the thing falls into the sea, which the pilot drops. Then the water lifts itself as high as a tower and falls down. What that (bomb?) is, I do not know. ...

The countries on the sea are endangered because of the water, the sea is very rough, the waves go as high as a house; the sea foams as if it is boiling underground. Islands disappear, and the climate is changing. A part of the proud island sinks, if the thing falls into the sea, which the pilot drops. Then the water lifts itself as high as a tower and falls down. What that is, I do not know. When it comes, I do not know.

Duration of the war

The whole war doesn't last long, I see three points - three days, three weeks, three months, I don't know exactly, but it (the war) won't last long!

3-day darkness during the war

During the war ... is the great darkness that lasts 72 hours. (Asteroid impact?)
... In this event, I see a large cross in the heavens, and an earthquake will be thunder and lightning that frightens all the world and they cry out: "There is a God!"
It will be dark in a day during the war. Then breaks forth a hail of thunder and lightning, and an earthquake shakes the earth.

Behavior during the dark days:

The lights do not burn, except candle light, there is no electricity.
Whoever breathes the dust, gets a cramp and dies. Outside the dust kills many people.

Then do not go out of the house!

Do not look out the windows, during the 72 hours do not open any window cover them with black paper.

Keep the blessed candles burning.

All open water is toxic and all foods that are not in sealed cans. Also eat no food in jars.

Do not go out, do not look out the window,: I say it again.

And pray.

After 72 hours it will be over.

Outside there will be countless dead people and animals, from lack of water and by the toxic cloud

Overnight, more people die than in the two world wars .... After the disaster, more people will die than in the two world wars together.

The rivers will have so little water in them that you can easily walk through them.

The cattle will fall, the grass is withered and yellow, the dead people are all yellow and black. The wind drives the clouds of death off to the east.

Peace then, resettlement in empty areas

Then there will be peace and a good time.

After the disaster a long, happy time will come. Those who shall experience this peaceful time can be thankful and very happy  for it shall be very good.  .

The landless people prefer now to where the wilderness has emerged. Anyone can settle where he likes, and have land as much as he can cultivate.

Warmer climate in Germany

By climate changes wine is cultivated with us again. There are tropical fruits grown here in Germany with us. It is much warmer than now.

In an interview given in the 1950s Alois Irlmaier related the following:

The city with the iron tower (Paris?) becomes the victim of its own people. They ignite everything. Revolution is, and everything is going wildly.
The large city with the iron tower is on fire. But this has been done by its own people, not by those who came from the east. And in Italy it is going wildly too. They kill many people there and the Pope flees, but many clergymen will be killed, many churches collapse.
In Russia a revolution breaks out and a civil war. The corpses are so much that you cannot remove them off the roads anymore. The large ones among the party leaders commit suicide and in the blood the great guilty is washed off. I see a red mass mixed with yellow faces, it is a general riot and horrible killing.
The cross comes to honours anew. The Russian people believe in God anew. They sing the Easter song and burn candles in front of sacred pictures. By the prayers of Christianity the monster from hell dies; also the young people believe anew in the intercession of the God's mother.
If everything is over, a part of the inhabitants have died, and the people are frightened of God anew.

The abortion laws, which bring death to the children, become invalid. Then peace will be. A good time. The Pope, who had not to flee across the water for a long time, returns. When the flowers bloom in the meadows, he will return and mourn for his murdered brothers. After these events a long, lucky time comes. But the people have to begin anew there, where their grandfathers began. End!

Prophecies of Berta Zängeler of St Gallen, Switzerland

Berta Zängeler who lived in the Linsebühlstrasse 101 in St. Gallen, Switzerland was a simple, single woman.

Her love of God brought her heavy crosses. She was seriously ill in old age land and offered her sufferings to the Saviour.

She possessed a bleeding crucifix.

If she held the wonderful cross in her hands, and spoke with the Saviour , those present could not understant the language she spoke because it was the language of angels.

Jesus gave her the gift of visions.

The events surrounding Berta's life were well known in the diocese St Gallen. However, an investigation was never carried out for lack of interest.

Some of her prophecies for the whole world:

God will place his followers at a certain time where HE wants.

There will come first the death of very many and then the purification begins.

During a hot summer, beaches will be flooded, the beaches where sin is perpetrated will be swept away.

Spain will burn for its crimes in the colonies.

In the Middle East, the war begins. Entire countries disappear from the map.

The Russians will invade Western Europe, as revenge for the satellite states which have become independent.

We will see nothing coming, everything happens all at once.

New diseases will arise, through which many people shall die in a very short time.

There will be Revolutions everywhere.

The Holy Father is forced to flee from Rome.

There shall be Warning of a white cross appearing in the sky.

After the warning comes the judgement upon the earth of three days of darkness. All hell is let loose for a short time on the earth. We will hear familiar voices outside, which are imitated by demons. We are not to look or go outside or answer their calls! The sight of the demons will be so terrible that we will die immediately.

It is the purification, but not the end of the world.

The end of the world is only 1000 years later.

Prophecies concerning  Switzerland:

There will be a collapse of the monetary system. People want to withdraw their money from the banks. Then the banks will have to close for a short time, literally "The money becomes worthless." Afterwards you can buy with 100 Swiss Francs what was before 5 Swiss Francs.  "Everyone will then have the same amount of money in the bank."

The financial collapse triggers a wave of suicides among the rich.

As a result, many homes are empty, but the poor do not want to enter them.
Civil unrest, literally: "it will be chaos."

There shall be Christian persecution, crucifixion of priests on church doors! Einsiedeln Monastery will be destroyed, only the chapel remains.

A famine will be the main scourge of this country (Switzerland). It is useless if we store food, everything will be stolen.
The large numbers of foreigners who are here in will return home because of the famine.
Mobilization of military forces due to large numbers of refugees from Germany. Since the Germans flee in such large numbers and invade Switzerland, their will be given the border guards authority to shoot.

Prophecies for Austria:

Brutal hordes come from the eastern Mediterranean countries to Austria. The government and the police and army can not keep them away.

A Habsburg will put together an army and win under heavy fighting and heavy losses.
Austria is again a monarchy, this Otto will reign 20 years.

Prophecies for Germany:

The Russians invade Germany. The real reason why the Russians have broken down the Berlin Wall and the other fortifications is so that they can quickly roll through with the tanks to the west.
The Russian tanks rolling over everything in their way. Lines of cars on the highways are simply rolled over by the tanks.

Horrible things will come to Yugoslavia:

The Olympic Stadium in Sarajevo is full of crosses.

Statements made by Bertha at the time of Hitler:

Hitler summoned the devil. Hitler can only be defeated by a priest who is pure according to the sixth commandment. All others have no power over him. (Therefore, many failed attacks).
Hitler fathered ~ 200 so called illegetimate "Fuehrerskinder". They are rebels. (These children have grown up to be the 1968 revolutionaries and the 70s terrorists.

Comments:

These prophecies said to have been given in the 1940s or 50s of the last century.
Surprisingly, therefore, the statements about the Olympic Stadium in Sarajevo, and the Berlin Wall. Both had not yet been built at the time of the prophecies.

AD MULTOS ANNOS!

OF YOUR CHARITY PLEASE SAY A PATER NOSTER, AVE & GLORIA FOR MOTHER ANGELICA AS SHE CELEBRATES HER 90TH BIRTHDAY TODAY

I remember very well the first time I saw Mother on television.  It must have been about 1979 or 1980. A protestant friend (whose family had satellite television) told me about her.  We only had 2 stations and my friend invited me to watch EWTN with her.  I confess that I wasn't really that impressed at the time.  I suspect that was because I was not as open to God's grace or because of my age.

Years later while living in Germany, I would listen to her programs via shortwave radio.  I am for the most part rather unimpressed with the great majority of EWTN programming (save some feature films, Papal liturgies, documentaries and above all "Mother Angelica reruns").   In fact, the past few years my television viewing has been almost exclusively Mother Angelica reruns.   I find myself edified by most everything she says.  I firmly believe that her's was a work of the Holy Ghost.  She continues through her reruns to catechize a new generation.  She reminds me most often of the old school style nuns who taught us religion as a boy.  She speaks from the heart in a clear, concise & down to earth fashion.   She has a great love for the Most Blessed Sacrament (think of the Shrine!) and a very tender love for Our Lady.   She was in her own way a "voice crying out in the wilderness of modernism".   I was impressed and moved by her decision to revert to the traditional Poor Clare habit and her dedication to and battle for the re-enchantment of the novus ordo liturgy above all her insistence upon the ad orientem eastward celebration of Holy Mass in Latin something which cost her dearly.

Many years ago, I wrote her asking advice about my own vocational discernment. I didn't expect a reply.  However, I was very surprised to receive a very kind hand-written letter.  She shall only know in heaven what hope this kindness brought to me.  I pray for her every day and of your charity ask you to do the same.

The Worthy Shepherd Prophecy Blessed Tomasuccio de Foligno

La Profezia Degno Pastore
(The Worthy Shepherd Prophecy)

By Blessed Tomasuccio de Foligno, 14th Century

The Worthy Shepherd Prophecy is attributed to Blessed Tomasuccio de Foligno, who wrote:

"One from beyond the mountains shall become the Vicar Of God. Religious and clerics shall take part in this change. Outside the true path, there will be only disreputable men; I shrug my shoulders when the Bark of Peter is in danger and there is no one to lend it help...The schismatic shall fall into the scorn of the Italian faithful...By about twelve years shall the millennium have passed when the resplendent mantle of legitimate power shall emerge from the shadows where it was being kept by the schism. And beyond harm from the one who is blocking the door of salvation, for his deceitful schism shall have come to an end. And the mass of the faithful shall attach itself to the worthy Shepherd, who shall extricate each one from error and restore to the Church its beauty. He shall renew it. "

This prophecy is similar to many prophetic statements by Catholic Saints and Mystics down thru the ages who have prophesied the coming of the Pastor Angelicus ("the Angelic Pope"), who would heal the Church of schism and bring about the Second Pentecost.

The first recorded instance of this prophecy of the Angelic Pope was cited by Roger Bacon in the 13th century:

"...Forty years ago it was prophesied, and there have been many visions to the same effect, that there will be a pope in these times who will purify Canon Law and the Church of God from the sophistries and deceits of the jurists so that justice will reign over all without the rumbling of lawsuits. Because of the goodness, truth, and justice of this pope the Greeks will return to the obedience of the Roman Church, the greater part of the Tartars will be converted to the faith, and the Saracens will be destroyed. There will be one flock and one shepherd, as the prophet heard (John 10:16)..."

The Pastor Angelicus was also alluded to in the 1846 Church-approved messages of La Salette:

"The faith will die out in France: three quarters of France will not practice religion anymore, or almost no more, the other part will practice it without really practicing it. Then, after [that], nations will convert, the faith will be rekindled everywhere. A great country, now Protestant, in the north of Europe, will be converted; by the support of this country all the other nations of the world will be converted.

Before all that arrives, great disorders will arrive, in the Church, and everywhere. Then, after [that], our Holy Father the Pope will be persecuted. His successor will be a pontiff that nobody expects.

Then, after [that], a great peace will come, but it will not last a long time. A monster will come to disturb it..."

(Prophecy of *Blessed Tomasuccio de FolignoProfezie, 14th Century)

*Tomasuccio de Foligno (1319-1377 A.D) beatus:
Franciscan tertiary. Born in Valmacinaia (Nocera Umbra). At the age of 24, Tomassucio retreated into solitude at Rigali (near Gualdo Tadino), wearing the habit of the TOR. He lived there under the direction of the hermit Pietro de Gualdo Tadino. After the death of Pietro (1367), Tomasuccio continued his life of retreat near Valdigorgo until 1370, when he embarked on a life as itinerant preacher in the March of Ancona and Tuscany. He went as pilgrim to Santiago da Compostella, to continue his itinerant preaching at Genoa and Tuscany after his return. In 1373 he was back in Umbria, to end up in Foligno, where he served for some time the hospital of La Santa Trinità. According to his biographer and disciple Giusto della Rosa, he died there in September 1377 (The Martyrologium Franciscanum [Rome, 1938], 359 commemorates him on September 15th). One of Blessed Tomasuccio’s visions, as well as his more famous Profezie have survived.
