I am so surprised to see this. I once met Fr. Thwaites, and after that we kept in contact. It's a long story, but I will get to the point. I have never experienced such charity from a priest. He once offered a special Mass - TLM - just for our family. And it was not for a day of obligation. He just wanted to do it for us! I pray that he will still extend his charity to us since he is in a better position to send us heavenly assistance.

What a beautiful grace for you to have met Father Thwaites! He seems to have been a very fine example of a holy priest. Yes, I believe that he is better able to extend his charity to us now!

just knew about the passage of this 1great priest. i am wondering whether the great work of rev. father thwaites at his san marino chapel at balham, london is noted, especially his keen interest in new african students arriving uk for the first time. he wedded i and my wife at his chapel in 1973. he was known by many african students in london in the 70s. may his soul rest in perfect peace.
